Worry and Meditation
I had a conversation with Bruce Ollington earlier in the week and he mentioned some things about worry and mediation that I thougt I would pass on:
If you know how to worry, you already know how to meditate - turn a particular thought over and over in your mind, pondering it from differnt angles.
If you have time to worry, you have time to meditate.
So the next time you recognize yourself worrying, see if you can use that as a trigger to switch your focus to some aspect of who God is, who you are as a child of God, the blessings God's kingdom, or even some passage of scripture that you have memorized.
